I almost didn’t have a party this year. 41 felt frivolous to celebrate. But this year was filled with chaos and uncertainty. I realized that nothing is promised, especially time. Celebrate the now. Take in the good times. Pause for them. Soak them in. Create them. I decided on a ‘ ‘Autumn Harvest Party’. The autumn harvest has been celebrated for millennia as a period of gratitude for nature’s bounty and a time of communal celebration.
The harvest has always been more than just a time to gather crops; it represents balance, gratitude, and preparation for the future, and what lies ahead. We dressed in American country western and drank spiked apple cider. There’s a lot of wild stuff happening in the world right now. I was reminded this year to not take life too seriously, none of us are getting out of here alive, be a good person, dream, hope, make the good days count, and have some fun. I had my aura photographed today, here’s what it looks like.

Time slowed at the beach. Summer days melted slowly into the salty ocean waves. We floated in the emerald green water, sipping tequila on the crystal coast that was once the playground of pirates. Chris Isaak’s baja sessions played under orange streaked southern skies. Summer is meant to be enjoyed slowly.

2024 was the year that I turned 40. The year that the pentagon confirmed the existence of UFOs and no one seemed to bat an eye. The year that everything seemed so wild that nothing surprised us anymore. The year that I rejoined the gym, and took up the rowing machine and the sauna. The year that I started eating organic (as much as possible). The year that I started to turn grey and the lines on my face deepened. The year that I started to watch NDRs. I still stay up late and run off of little sleep. I still drink and eat too much and have way too much fun. I still try to live every month like it’s my last. I still try to think positively and watch my words. Im still planning for the next great adventure and can’t wait to see what next year brings. All good things I hope. And I ll roll with everything that comes my way. Thanks for being a part of my year. Cheers 🥂
