📰 We Made the Front Page of Neighbors!

​A huge shout-out to our very own John Stein for his incredible efforts in working with the local media to get VFW Post 3285 the recognition it deserves! Thanks to John, our recent National Day of Service project was featured on the front page of the Neighbors section in the Frederick News-Post.

​On May 9th, our members traded their uniforms for "Day of Service" shirts and headed out to Willowdale Park. Together we cleared over 1,500 pounds of trash from the park and creek.

​Helped restore and enhance our local watershed.
​Proved that service to our community doesn't stop when we take off the uniform.

​We are so proud of everyone who came out to sweat for a good cause, and extra grateful to John for ensuring the Frederick community sees the heart and hard work of our Post.
