Today is World Blood Donor Day! ! Did you know that your dog can become a blood donor and save lives?
Doggy blood donors must be:
- between the ages of 1 and 7 years old
- at a healthy weight of at least 40 pounds
- up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines
- on year-round heartworm and flea/tick prevention
- people friendly and generally healthy
