One-Room Schoolhouse Summer Program

Here are some pictures from the day. The highlight was the STEM challenge. The kids had to make a “boat” that would hold as many Pennie’s as possible. Zoe and Hannah ended up winning the contest. Their boat was unsinkable!!! It was fun to see all of the different designs!

During STEM time, the kids created a face mask, foot scrub, and a yogurt parfait. It was a fun and busy day!

The summer reading programs at the local libraries are a great way to track reading and earn prizes. Click on the link below to sign up for the Grace A Dow Summer Reading Program. We will be tracking our reading this summer and this is a great tool.
