None of these new capabilities mean much without the people who put in the work to turn them into finished products.

The Bay Area Runners Club of Bay City, Michigan, trusted us once again to produce trophy toppers for their latest event. After creating their initial design, we received approval to use the project as one of the first applications for our new textured UV printing equipment.

We combined FDM manufacturing with full-color, textured UV graphic printing to create a trophy with more detail, depth, and visual impact than we could achieve through 3D printing alone.

This hybrid manufacturing process opens the door to a lot of new products, including our upcoming line of industrial labels, equipment identification, and custom branded components. Stay tuned!

We’re hiring at ColKy Designs & 3D Prints in Freeland, MI.

We are looking to fill 3 positions as our small business continues to grow. These are hands-on positions in a fast-paced production and shipping environment.

Available positions:

📦 Afternoon Shipping
Monday–Friday
12 PM–5 PM
Packing orders, preparing shipments, organizing finished products, and helping keep daily orders moving.

🛠️ Weekday Assembly & Printing
Monday–Friday
12 PM–8 PM
Product assembly, magnet installation, unloading/loading 3D printers, basic quality checks, and general production support.

🖨️ Weekend Shipping & Printing Support
Friday–Monday availability needed
This position helps cover our busiest shipping and production days. Work includes packing orders, running printers, unloading/loading printers, assembling products, and helping keep production caught up.

Starting pay is generally $16–$17/hr depending on experience and reliability. Raises are available for people who prove they can work efficiently, show up consistently, and maintain quality.

No experience is required, but you must be dependable, able to stay focused, and willing to learn. Attention to detail matters.

Interviews will be completed within the next two weeks.
