This is a message we’ve put a lot of heart into writing.

After much thought, our family has decided to list the business for sale and begin a new chapter. This store has been a true family endeavor, and serving this town for the past 20 years has been an honor we’ll always be grateful for.

Freeport has supported us in ways we can never fully put into words. Your loyalty, kindness, conversations, and encouragement have meant everything to us. We would absolutely love to see the business remain here in town and continue serving this community for many years to come.

We also want to sincerely thank you for your patience over the past several months as inventory has been lighter than usual. We made the intentional decision not to lock a future owner into new long-term vendor agreements, so they can choose the suppliers and direction that work best for them. Your understanding has not gone unnoticed, and we are deeply appreciative.

We haven’t sold yet, and we’re still here, still open, and still grateful for every visit. Please stop in, get your propane filled, shop what we have in store, and say hello. Every bit truly helps during this transition. We’ll keep you posted as things progress.

On a personal note, I’ll be heading back to school to continue my education, and I’m incredibly thankful that this community has given me the foundation and support to take that next step forward.

And of course, Moka and Teddy Bear 🐾 thank you for every treat, every scratch behind the ears, and every time you stop by to see them. They think you’re all family too.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything you’ve given our family. This place, and this town, will always mean something special to us.
