👉 SAFETY HISTORY: Hard Hats 👈
The hard hat was first introduced in the early 1900s to protect workers from falling debris on construction and industrial job sites. Inspired by military helmets, early versions were made from canvas, glue, and leather before evolving into the durable safety helmets used today. Over time, the hard hat became a symbol of workplace safety, helping reduce head injuries and protect workers across industries worldwide.
Today, hard hats are a crucial piece of PPE in our industry. CITY RISE helps ensure safety on the jobsite by requiring our crews to wear all essential PPE, including the hard hat!
