We recently had the privilege of taking one of our residents, Gene —a proud United States Air Force veteran, on a trip to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this visit held special meaning. As we explored the exhibits, Gene eagerly shared memories of his time in the service, pointing out familiar aircraft and discussing the roles they played during his military career. Gene’s stories brought the exhibits to life and offered everyone on the trip a deeper appreciation for his service and experiences.
