It had been no ordinary end to the week for embedUR.
Last Saturday, the embedUR family took a shuttle to the indoor badminton stadium for an all-weekend racket to start our very own Badminton Tournament. Good participation in the tournament, which was promoted by HR and put together by a committee (and their cheering fans). With smiles on their faces and racquets in hand, the players gathered under 17 banners, eager to see what the other teams were like.

Participation was enthusiastic and vigorous; the applause was unrestrained and generous; both victories and defeats were accepted with grace. The players conducted themselves with dignity and covered both each other and themselves with glory—the winning team shared the Championship with the final runner-up out of appreciation for its rival’s tenacity and resolve, bringing the tournament to its magnificent finish!

What a lesson in sportsmanship and teamwork! Wow!

We had an absolute cracker of a time celebrating Diwali at embedUR on a Friday.
Fridays are usually when you are already thinking about turning off the lights.
But that day our firebrand HR Team brought out a bedazzling array of parlour games, performances, and merrymaking galore to keep us entertained. A game of musical chairs kept us on the edge of our seats. A classical dance performance had us enraptured. Folk dance routines had us cheering and laughing as we urged our comrades to show off their prowess on the dance floor (or lack thereof 😊). Shortly thereafter, we were treated to a sumptuous Diwali feast.
Firecrackers fizzle down eventually. But we left that evening carrying lit Diyas in our hearts. A delicious feeling of warmth and camaraderie emanated from the cooling embers, leaving us wanting more.
