Porky The Pirate, the man and his exploits are legendary, but despite the fact that the man could consume as much alcohol as a a pair of TA/FCs, he was a damn good welder!

Fremont Dragstrip was a magical place to be in the '70's. To us it was the most exciting place on earth!🤪

During the '70's, nitro burning, tire smoking Funny Cars at night, created memories so vivid that the memories seem as fresh today as they were when I was a teenager!🤩

Once upon a time, funny car drivers were known more by their stage names than their real names and their on and off track performances were aimed more at pleasing the fans not their corporate sponsors.🥰

I just received the sad news that drag racing legend, owner and driver of the Del Rio Bros A/SR passed away yesterday 3/13/24. My deepest condolences to his wife and family. I had the pleasure of calling him my friend. 😪
