In observance of Independence Day, our office will be closed on Friday, July 3. We wish everyone a safe, fun, and happy 4th of July as you celebrate with family and friends!

July 1, 1948, marks the birth of photojournalism, as French weekly periodical L'Illustration published the first photo in a news publication — an image of barricaded Parisian streets caused by a worker's strike.

Instructor Rus Stolling points to a slide in his Space Rocks! class yesterday. He also brought in several "space rocks" that the class got to see and hold. While this was Rus' first class for our OLLI program, it won't be his last. He'll be back this fall with "The Star of Bethlehem: Myth, Miracle, or Magic?"

In observance of Juneteenth, the OLLI office at Fresno State will be closed on June 19, 2026.

Juneteenth marks a pivotal moment in American history and reminds us of the ongoing pursuit of liberty, justice, and opportunity for all. We honor this day of reflection, celebration, and community!
