We have purchased our very first Mac at the TekEdge offices. So far, “survey says”…it is a hated little device! Don’t get me wrong, the hardware is a work of art but Mac OS X 10.8 is not my favorite thing in the world – I guess it’s better than DOS or Windows 3.1. Back to the hardware, externally it is beautiful and to some degree internally as well. Having taken the entire thing apart, the major thing going for Apple (and when I say Apple, I actually mean Apple – not the consumer) is what a total pain in the rear it is to repair the internals.

Only time will tell if this thing grows on me or if it finds itself re-purposed as a Windows 7/8 Mac. At this very moment in time, it is 100% the later. Stay tuned…
