The U.S. Navy is celebrating its 250th anniversary today , October 13, 2025, with various events planned across the country, particularly in Philadelphia. Celebrations include ceremonies, parades, public tours of naval ships, and static displays, marking 250 years since the Second Continental Congress established the Continental Navy in 1775.

This is a heartbreaking story. A group of Clovis Hills kids dressed as Cowboys obviously enjoying the Clovis Rodeo, were out for a good time together at McDonald’s when they were accosted by a hooded, masked gunman who shot Caleb Quick in the head and killed him.

This senseless and cruel act of violence took from our community a decent, honorable, person of faith. The sooner they catch this murderer the better. And the full weight of the law should come down on him hard. Sharon & I hurt for the family, at the same time we are mad as hell Caleb has been taken from his friends, family, and church members.
