Rein in Sarcoma

Richard found a small lump about the size of a pea in his arm that was initially diagnosed as a blood clot. He was put on blood thinners, but the lump increased in size. Four years later, the lump finally got a name. It was Leiomyosarcoma.

Richard fought through over 30 rounds of chemotherapy and more than four months of daily radiation. On July 10, 2011, Richard passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends. His legacy lives on through his Named Fund.
