The Atrium Foundation

The Atrium Foundation is 100% volunteer run organization.
This ensures that the donations we receive go directly to the people who need support.

As a true community based organization we are committed to volunteerism.

While we see the hope The Atrium Foundation brings to the people we help, it comes at an emotional cost. We share in the hardships of our beneficiaries and we mourn when they pass, in 2025, 5 Atrium beneficiaries and 1 supporter (I use ‘supporter’ instead of ‘donor’ its more personal to me) passed due to cancer. Their losses hit us hard. It pushed us to question if The Atrium should continue and we began to seriously consider closing.
Even though we aren’t a big name nonprofit we do bring a tremendous amount of value to the cancer community. We see it in the faces of our beneficiaries while we are on our video meet-n-greets and in the pictures they share. We read it in the words of their emails and testimonials, as well as in the words received from our supporters, colleagues, family, and friends.

The Atrium Foundation was founded on the belief people have in it.

Helping and lifting others up in the most critical time is what we are here for. To be here for one another, to cherish the hard and good times, and be a stepping stone or a bridge to help others continue their path in life is our purpose.

This trying time reassured us that we are on the path we are meant to be on!
