💔 Have you ever felt like your value rises and falls with the number on the scale, the mirror, or someone else’s approval?
When your worth is tied to your physique, peace becomes fragile.
One "bad" day can feel like failure.
One comment can unravel your confidence.
But that was never how God designed you to live.
📖 Scripture reminds us in 1 Samuel 16:7:
"People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
Your body was never meant to carry the weight of your identity.
Your worth was established long before you ever questioned it, rooted in the truth that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), chosen, and deeply loved by God. ❤️
✨ Healing doesn't begin by trying harder to love yourself.
It begins by allowing God to show you who He created you to be.
As you draw near to Him, He gently reveals the places where you've looked to appearance, achievement, or the approval of others for identity.
He invites you to lay down shame, comparison, and striving so you can rest in the unchanging truth of who He says you are.
You are not your reflection.
You are not your measurements.
You are not your past attempts to be "enough."
🌿 You are God's beloved.
If you've been striving to earn worth through appearance, it may be time to let God heal the deeper place within you that's been hurting.
🙏 Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, I come before You carrying the weight of comparison, insecurity, and striving. I confess the ways I've tied my worth to how I look instead of who You say I am. Heal the places in my heart where lies have taken root. Help me see myself through Your eyes, whole, loved, and enough. Teach me to rest in Your truth and not in the approval of others. In Jesus' name, Amen.
🤍 You don't have to walk this journey alone.
What would change in your life if you truly believed what God says about you?
If you're ready to break free from cycles of insecurity and step into the truth of your identity, we invite you to schedule an inner healing session at https://www.crcministries.net/ or by calling 281-910-0668. We'd be honored to walk with you on your healing journey.

💔 Have you ever been wounded by someone you trusted in church?
"It is not an enemy who taunts me. I could bear that. It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me. I could have hidden from them. Instead, it is you, my equal, my companion and close friend." (Psalm 55:12-14)
Church hurt cuts differently.
It is not just the pain of betrayal. It is the confusion, the disillusionment, and sometimes even the struggle to trust God because the wound happened in a place that was meant to reflect His love.
When someone you prayed with, served alongside, or considered family becomes the source of your pain, the scars can run deep.
❤️ If this is part of your story, know this: God has not abandoned you.
He sees every betrayal.
He understands every tear.
He is not intimidated by your questions, your grief, your anger, or your shattered expectations.
He welcomes you to bring every part of your heart into His presence.
✨ Healing begins when we invite Jesus into the places we've tried to carry alone. He is able to restore what has been broken and lead us toward freedom.
🙏 Prayer
Father, You see every hidden wound caused by betrayal and disappointment. You know the pain of being hurt by those we trusted. Today, we bring every memory, every emotion, and every burden before You. Heal our hearts where they have been broken. Restore what has been lost. Help us forgive, not by our own strength, but through Your grace. Remind us that You are faithful, even when people fail us. Give us wisdom as we learn to trust again where it is safe and healthy. Draw us close to You and lead us into the freedom and healing You desire for us. In Jesus' name, amen.
🤍 If this message encouraged you, please share it with someone who may need hope today.
If you are ready to begin your healing journey, you do not have to walk through it alone. We would be honored to pray with you and walk alongside you through a confidential inner healing session. We invite you to schedule an appointment with our inner healing ministry at https://www.crcministries.net/ or by calling 281-910-0668.

Greg's message for the week:
Humility
“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” (Philippians 2:3-4) 🕊️
The Bible provides many guidelines on how to live in harmony with God and as an ambassador for Christ in our world. 📖
Jesus, being fully God, humbled Himself, even unto death. He did not count Himself equal to God, He emptied Himself as a servant to the lost, infirmed, and the lowest of society. ✝️
In Philippians, Paul calls on all Christians to discard our selfish ambitions and conceit. For many, this is very hard when their self-worth and grounding are not anchored in Christ. Their ego, arrogance, and need to prove their value over others shines through. As we grow in our relationship with Jesus, we are freed of these sinful behaviors and able to more effectively express God’s love and mercy. This maturity enables us to shed the need of self-promotion and justifying ourselves above others. Humility then is a choice which doesn’t threaten our own posture and value with God. 💛
Paul goes on to instruct us to consider the interests of others before ourselves. With a heart of compassion and true humility, we can love and care for the people around us, seeing them as peers, all brothers and sisters in Christ. As C. S Lewis said, “True humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less.” There’s a big difference! 🌿
Whether in prayer or just daily life, may we love and care as Jesus did, humbly serving all of God’s precious children in true humility and mercy. 🙌

✨ What if fear isn't your enemy—but a signal pointing to where God wants to heal you?
📖 "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?"
— Psalm 27:1
😟 Fear has a way of feeling overwhelming, loud, and convincing.
It whispers worst-case scenarios, replays old wounds, and keeps us stuck in cycles we long to break.
💡 But this verse reminds us of a deeper truth:
When we encounter God as our Light, our Salvation, and our Stronghold, fear begins to lose its grip.
❤️🩹 Inner healing isn't about pretending fear doesn't exist.
It's about inviting God into the places where fear took root—past hurts, disappointments, trauma, or lies we've believed—and allowing His truth to bring healing and freedom.
🕊️ When God becomes your stronghold, fear no longer gets the final say.
It no longer has to define your reactions, your relationships, or your future.
🌱 If fear has been holding you back—whether in relationships, purpose, or peace—it may be time to let God meet you there in a deeper way.
🙏 Prayer
Lord, You are my light and my salvation.
Today, I bring every fear before You—the ones I understand and the ones I don't.
✨ Shine Your truth into the hidden places of my heart.
🔗 Break every agreement I've made with fear and replace it with Your peace and security.
🛡️ Be my stronghold, my refuge, and my confidence.
🤍 Teach me to trust You fully.
In Jesus' name, amen.
📅 If you're ready to experience deeper healing and freedom from fear, we invite you to schedule an inner healing session with us at https://www.crcministries.net/ or by calling 281-910-0668.
🤝 You don't have to walk through this alone. God is ready to meet you right where you are.

Greg's message for the week:
Freedom: Given freely and received through Faith
Jesus died to set us free. He has made us free from the heavy burden of the hundreds of religious laws, free from the demonic strongholds, free of the yoke of bo***ge, and free to live a “life of abundance” in harmony with Him. Jesus wants us to draw on His strength and walk in that freedom. Standing firm is standing upright under God’s strength and conviction.
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.” (Galatians 5:1-3)
Paul emphatically warns (mark my words) that if we are seeking to follow the laws to improve our position in being saved and set free, we are expressing that what Christ did was not enough. If you want to feel “qualified” by following the laws (including following rituals), don’t you have to satisfy all the laws? No one can accomplish that, except Jesus. Jesus’ sacrifice paid for our freedom and our role is to accept that salvation through faith and obedience.
“You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.” (Galatians 5:4)
When we are “working” at being justified by the law, we lack trust or belief in what Christ has done for us. We receive freedom, redemption, and justification only through God’s grace.
“For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” (Galatians 5:5-6)
The key messages are to (1) accept God’s gifts with gratitude and humility, (2) by faith walk in the confidence of His ultimate sacrifice which opened the path for us to live in freedom and deep intimacy with Him, and (3) stop working at earning this incredible gift!
