We dispatched our editors hither and yon to find the best places to play (and stay cool and dry) in Dallas this summer, from an electric mahjong showroom where you can throw tiles at warp speed to the "quietest" indoor pickleball space in the country (DJ optional).

Eastbound Main Street will be closed between 3rd and 5th Street for two days for underground utility work. The closure begins at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, April 23. The road is expected to reopen by 7 a.m. Saturday, April 25. Westbound Main Street will not be affected.

Detour signs posted:
- Traffic on eastbound Main Street will be detoured south on 3rd Street, east on Elm Street and north on 5th Street.

Please use caution in the work zone and consider using Waze to find alternate routes.
