She Affirms

Not every friendship is meant to be convenient… some are meant to be transformational.

If you’re asking God for friendships with intentionality…
Friendships rooted in faith…
Friendships filled with encouragement…
Friendships that hold you accountable and push you toward your purpose…

Let me remind you of the story of the paralytic man in Gospel of Mark 2:1–12. He couldn’t get to Jesus on his own but he had friends who carried him. When the crowd blocked the door, they climbed the roof. They didn’t just sit beside him… they lifted him.

And because of THEIR FAITH, Jesus healed him.

That’s the kind of friendship you pray for.
The kind that carries you when you’re weak.
The kind that pushes past obstacles.
The kind that won’t let you stay stuck.
The kind that gets you to Jesus.

Jesus didn’t create friendships just for football games, brunch dates, or cute pictures (though we love those too 😌). He created them for spiritual growth. Iron sharpening iron. Purpose pushing purpose.

Choose your friends wisely.
Know their heart.
Honor the season you have them in your life.

Because every friendship isn’t meant to last forever… but some are heaven-sent and will walk with you for a lifetime.

And when God sends those? Protect them. Nurture them. Pray for them.
