Songwriters… remember to feast from God’s Word.

Psalm 119:103 says “How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth.” There’s an invitation in that verse that goes beyond devotional discipline… it’s a call to develop a genuine hunger for the Word of God. Not just reading it to check a box, but actually tasting it. Savoring it. Letting it become something you crave.

And for songwriters, that hunger changes everything.
When you spend time in Scripture by really studying it or sitting with it… something happens beneath the surface of your creativity. The imagery gets richer. The theology gets deeper. The words you reach for when you write start carrying more weight because they’re being drawn from a well that never runs dry.
