So Amy and I got invited to the cowboy club Christmas party. To my surprise Jerry Rice was there. We went up to talk to him, figuring ! would have to introduce myself to him. I couldn't believe it... The Jerry Rice called me The Legend Jay Novacek! I was so shocked I could barely speak...
The Jerry said that! While out hunting today I got to thinking bout that. Those like Jerry, Troy, Michael, and Emmitt are legends. So what would that make me? I got it... A Myth! You know like Sasquatch! Just when the defense thought they could stop us because they would double Michael and put 8 men in the box to stop Emmitt, they would forget about me. After a first down catch (cause ain't nobody covering me they would say where did he come from... just like Sasquatch! We show up when nobody thinks we are around. Yup we are myths.
And too my wife... we are both real!

So as many of you know, Kai is our nephew and unfortunately, his cancer is back with a powerful vengeance. At this point there is nothing that can be done except give him the best life in the short amount of time he has.
What kid does not like getting mail. Running to the mailbox just wanting something to be theirs, to feel grownup.
I am asking everyone to send our nephew a card, a note, anything to make his time special. I want to see how far and how many states/countries we can get a note, post card whatever.
PLEASE SHARE AND SPREAD THE WORD....... a happy note brings smiles, and he needs them and the good thoughts that go with them.
