Over the course of the past 40 years I have undergone approximately 10 surgical procedures, all requiring anesthesiology. The majority of these procedures occurred within the new millennium and were all performed at outpatient surgical centers, but one. My most recent surgery was this past Friday at the Preston Surgery Center in Frisco, TX.

Post surgery, I have on numerous previous occasions gone “on-line” to rate a surgical center based on my personal experience. Honestly speaking, the surgery centers may have looked attractive, but my experience was unpleasant on almost every occasion. I was quite surprised by the number of issues I encountered at each surgery center.

Fortunately, I‘m very pleased to say that was not my experience at Preston Surgery Center. From my early AM admission to my post-op discharge and departure about noon, the entire process was without flaw. And most important to me was the upbeat, cheerful, organized and attentive behavior of the physicians and staff throughout my time at the Preston Surgery Center.

I’m always anxious prior to surgery, but that was quickly abated through the positive, caring and compassionate demeanor of everyone there. I have truly never had a surgery go smoother, nor have I come out of being anesthetized feeling better than I did this past Friday. How nice! This was actually a very pleasant experience.

Because of the outstanding treatment that I received I want to graciously thank Dr. David Keelen, the Anesthesiologist, the Nurses, the Medtronic Clinical Representative, and the entire Staff at Preston Surgery Center for an outstanding surgical experience. Job well done!

I hope I’m through with surgeries. However, if I need another, and I probably will, I will undoubtedly have it performed at the Preston Surgery Center again.
