As it warms up and the ice begins melting and pipes are thawing, this is the time to check for water leaks.
Walk both the interior and exterior of your home and look for signs and sounds of running water.
Check ceilings, walls, and flooring.
Listen for running water or water hissing, it can be very subtle.
Also check water pressure at each faucet; low pressure can be a warning sign.
You could also check the flow indicator inside your water meter box.
