If youโve ever wondered what would happen if an indoor playground and an adventure course had a babyโฆ this is it.
๐ WHAT IT IS
Fritzโs Adventure is a massive indoor/outdoor adventure park in The Colony where kids (and grownups ๐) can climb, crawl, zip, slide, tunnel, and explore through more than 100,000 square feet of adventure. (Grandscape)
๐ THE PARENT TAKE
I went in fully expecting to supervise.
Instead, I found myself climbing, crawling through tunnels, and proving once again that grownups are really just big kids with a credit card. ๐
One of my favorite things about this place is that it isnโt one of those spots where you sit on a bench scrolling your phone while your kids play. The whole experience is built for families to do together. (Fritz Adventure)
๐ BEST AGES
Toddlers through adults.
The little kids can explore while older kids and adventurous parents can tackle climbing walls, ropes courses, tunnels, ziplines, and more. (Fritzโs Adventure)
๐ MOM TIP
Wear athletic shoes and clothes you can actually move in.
Trust me on this oneโฆ youโll tell yourself youโre not climbing anything and then 10 minutes later youโll be halfway through an obstacle course. ๐
๐ PRICING
โข Ages 4 & under: FREE
โข General Admission starts at $24.99
โข All Access starts at $34.99 and includes the zipline experiences for eligible guests. (Fritzโs Adventure)

We had one very important question during Camp West Science Weekโฆ
Which creates the bigger explosion: Mentos or baking soda? ๐คฏ
Naturally, there was only one way to find out.
The campers made their predictions, and we turned our backyard into a giant soda laboratory. ๐
๐ WHAT YOU NEED
โข Diet Coke 2-liter bottles
โข Mentos
โข Baking soda
โข Measuring cups
โข A sense of adventure
๐ THE EXPERIMENT
We tested different bottles using Mentos and others using baking soda to see which reaction would create the biggest geyser.
The kids were completely invested in the results and the squeals every time a bottle erupted were worth it all.
๐ MOM TIP
Buy a few different soda brands too! The kids loved making predictions about which one would launch the highest.
๐ CAMP WEST SCIENCE WEEK TAKEAWAY
Turns out science gets a lot more exciting when it shoots 15 feet into the air. ๐
One of my favorite parts of camp has been watching all little campers get genuinely excited about asking questions, making predictions, and discovering what happens next.

A few weeks ago, Camp West was just an idea.
Now itโs 34 campers, 12 camp counselors, countless snack breaks, and hearing:
โWhat are we doing at camp today?โ
about 100 times before noon. ๐
And honestly? I love it.
As moms, itโs easy to put pressure on ourselves to create the โperfectโ summer. But these kids donโt care if everything is perfectly planned. They just want adventure. They want their friends. They want popsicles, silly games, science experiments, and something to look forward to when they wake up each morning.
Watching them run up excited to see whatโs happening at camp each day has been my favorite part.
Itโs a good reminder that sometimes the best summer memories arenโt the big vacations or expensive activities. Theyโre the random Tuesday mornings spent outside with friends, making the most of the season weโre in.
Hereโs to saying yes to the chaos, yes to community, and yes to one more summer weโll never get back. ๐
