Spicy Hogs

This miss is adorably tucking herself in to sleep. Must be nice to have a built-in blanket.

Everyone is now down for the winter. The reptile room will be a little quieter for the next couple of months. I might miss the little hisses from Twist and Mire, my spiciest hogs.

Trying something new by staggering brumation. Two girls are going cold this week. In 3 weeks the rest will go down. Hoping that a month between breeding will help next year's season to be less overwhelming. Eggs won't be laid within weeks of each other. Babies won't be hatching and starting to feed all at once.
