Ever wondered how soldiers were fed before refrigerators? 🍞🌽 Who grew and prepared their meals, and what foods kept them going? Join us for Master Gardeners: Breadbasket of War, and discover the vital role the Shenandoah Valley played in feeding our nation! Kids will plant their own corn and beans to take home, and check on the plants we started in May—weather permitting. Don’t miss this unique blend of history, gardening, and fun!

We have two exciting sessions planned for Friday, August 14th - 🌱 Wee Ones (ages 3-5) at 3:00 PM, and 🌱Green Thumbs (ages 6-11) at 4:00 PM. Registration is required, and spots fill up fast!
