The Coffee K9

Been a minute since I’ve posted an all black, couldn’t possibly miss the opportunity with this heavily customized one.
I’m still pretty tickled with shop progress. A manageable amount of delays and complications, feeling pretty organized and aware of what’s needed and what’s taking longer to arrive, doing what I can. I currently only take wednesdays off (except to ship something) and completing 1-3 harnesses per day depending on complexity/style. The recent yet again buckle complication (supplier doing a price gouge) put me a little back from original goals but right now August 1st waitlist return is still looking pretty promising. By the end of July, I’m projected to be way ahead of schedule for the first time in a long time, and cannot wait for that feeling! I will say; it’s very motivating with how many stunning orders I have on my plate to see finished.

Tonight I’m doing an inventory order for not just orders that I’m working on within the next 2 weeks, missing pieces, but ALSO some premade harness supplies I’m missing. I want two other webbing colors aside from black and scraps I have, what webbing colors make your heart skip? 😊

So this month has brought me a lot of challenges behind the scenes and I’m noticing this week alone I’m missing a lot of my promises and dates. Due to some things going on my business productivity and at times ethic is suffering and I don’t wish to watch that progress into something bigger!
I’m making the unfortunate decision to close the waitlist openings until April.

ANYONE WITH AN ORDER OR ON THE WAITLIST:
I am still working, that’s not changing at all. And still taking orders off my existing waitlist. I am only closing new names on the waitlist before this gets any more out of control and will reassess where I’m at after all this to make sure I don’t get to this point and how to resolve all business glitches 😊. Anyone with a paid order will have their harness shipped out anywhere between the next 1-4 weeks (depending on when you placed order). I have so many photos, tracking a, and updates to send out the coming days as well! Waitlist contacts slowed down speed recently due to everything happening but the show will go on.

I know this is very disappointing to a lot of you, especially with the classic. But do know this means I will now have time for premades. I already have 7 sitting in my closet partially done, so I have a good feeling come March, its going to be the sale of a lifetime. And so know, this is not a closure. Just a pause button for the quality and betterment of this small business!

I hope you all understand. I’ve seen some shops drowning a bit recently, I know that anxiety too well, so I’m seeing tension rise in the small business department and want to extinguish any flames reaching my side of the hill before I continue accepting names onto my list and start a forest fire (go home smoky), and money into my account. Had to take my productive b**ch pants to the laundromat before putting them back on. Last week was unexpectedly dark in the Coffee Casa. I try not to work too much when I’m not in a good headspace since that’s when I make the most mistakes. I’d rather make quality gear over quick gear (well....ideally I can do both but we are practicing 😂).
Today and tomorrow are prep days after I finish some sets so can’t wait to see what I have to show you and get these sets out. Happy on the decision not to open the list second time this month only since nothing but productivity can be focused on in the coming weeks ❣️
