A gracious giver, a generous teacher, a bird lover and most of all a people lover. No one could warm up a room like her. She had many accomplishments but never took her eye off the prize of her eternal home.

When I was just a little girl she taught me how to care for roses and remove the thorns without hurting myself or the flower. I think of her with every rose I de-thorn by hand and put into a bouquet.
