⚠️ This week's heat is different than a typical summer day ⚠️

Hot and humid weather is expected through the end of the week, with the hottest conditions arriving Wednesday through Friday. Unlike many summer days, overnight temperatures will stay warm, giving your body less time to cool down and recover. A Heat Advisory was issued today by the National Weather Service, and we will likely see additional Heat Advisories later this week, or even extreme heat warnings issued if temperatures get high enough.

Now is the time to prepare:
- Drink water throughout the day
- Make sure your air conditioner is working
- Know where you can go if you need a cool place
- Check on family, friends, and neighbors
