For the love of real estate… 🤍🏡
And even more for the love of the PEOPLE in real estate… If you asked me why I do what I do, I’d tell you that it really is for the peeps. A friend (who happens to be a fellow REALTOR) was riding in the car with me today, and I got a phone call from one of my with some questions about an offer. Handled the questions and hung up, and she said “You have such a cool job. You get to help all these people and see them grow.” 🥹 And it kind of hit me in my feels… I do have a cool job! Every day this year, part of my prayers has been Lord, help me make some kind of impact today. And I’m just so blessed to be in a position where I have a chance to help someone or encourage someone or push someone.
Literally all but like 5 of my good friends are thanks to real estate. People who I’ve come to consider real family are thanks to real estate. Yes, selling houses is important and contracts are important and keeping up with the laws and rules is important… but none of that is anywhere CLOSE to being as important as the people. And my real “clients” are my agents. I hate to sound cliche, but we’re like a family. We’ve got our fair share of cray 😜 and drama 🎭 but at the end of the day, we’re there for each other.
There are some days that are loooonnnnggg where calls and texts start before 7am and they end at midnight… 🙈 and there are PLENTY of moments where we get a little frustrated or anxious. But then there are days where you get a text that just says “love ya - have a great day.” Or “couldn’t do this without you.” And you remember why it’s all worth it. 🤍 I’m doing my best this year to remember to be grateful for it all… and to my peeps (and you know who you are) - thank you, thank you for being you, thank you for the work you do to change lives. And thank you for the impact you make on me. 🥹🫶 Now, let’s go knock this month out of the park! 🤩
