If you know me, you know I’m getting oder. And as you get older things change; things drift away. So I have adopted and modified the Serenity Prayer for myself. I’m not asking “God” for anything I am shifting it to my own agency and commitment. If you are where I am , you may enjoy this:

I will accept the things I cannot change, and have the courage to change the things I can, with the wisdom to know the difference.

I will strive to live each day and each moment with intention; opening my heart to joy, my mind resilient against challenges, and to be fully present in the beauty of the now.

I find myself failing at this occasionally but it is my goal and my “prayer”.
