Impurity

Hello to all of our supporters! We haven't posted anything related to the band in a very long time, so here it goes.

Our line-up right now and as of 2020 actually has been Damian Scott on Vocals, Jeremy Caldwell on Guitar, and Mike Shaw on drums with Lukas Diaz-Ames filling in on Bass for live shows.

We don't have any shows planned as of now, but there is a possibility in 2024 we might be interested in playing a few.

As far as album updates... We entered the studio many years ago in 2012 to pursue our biggest full length yet. It has been a long journey that still isn't over for us. Many obstacles have come in our way to present this album to you fans. One issue was our decision on whether or not to keep the tracks we recorded in 2012 of our previous drummer for a release 10+ years later with a new line-up. Though Justin did a great job on these songs, they have evolved since 2013 when Mike took over and are represented differently now when we play them live. These stylistic changes have become part of the songs live, and we felt that in order to represent this well on a recording we would have to re-track these songs to give a more "up to date" version of our music.

Another obstacle for this band's stability has been that most of us do not live anywhere near each other. We have all separated into different states or far from each other in Florida. This makes everything more challenging of course, but there is the magic of the internet, which we are utilizing. But things are still tricky to schedule as you can imagine.

In 2020 we were discussing playing more shows, but of course we all know how 2020 went... We did have a few "demo" full lengths out for sale physically at the two shows we were lucky enough to play that year, but things sort of fizzled out as the years went by.

So today we wanted to say that we WILL have this album out in a new mix and format representing our more recent live sound combined with the sound we have achieved on past albums.

At this point we are planning on releasing two albums. One is still a work in progress, and a "triumphant return" of sorts, the other will be our 2nd Full Length album originally intended to be released in 2016, entitled "Reign or Ruin".
