Reviewing photos from the second session of our Wild Wonder Creators Camp this year!
✨ We offer programs where kids can learn, explore, and grow together, building confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging along the way.
More photos and fun stories to come soon, but for now here's a few sweet moments🌞🌼❤

Rest is crucial: Our farm and garden beds are busy for the ten long months that is our growing season!
☀️Our growing spaces use summer to replenish — so that next season’s harvests are abundant and may continue to nourish our community.
🌱While the garden beds rest, our farmers rest, too. All volunteering at our Giving Gardens is paused during our summer break.
🥕 Join us again starting early September, when we’ll kick off our next growing season’s Thursday evening volunteer days, which continue on a weekly basis through until June of 2027.

We're halfway through week 1 of Wild Wonder Creators Camp: A summer break adventure in making, crafting, and creating with the natural world🌱🌈🐛🌻🌞
✨ A giant thank you to the following for your support in making this camp happen: - from providing our gathering space, to supplying snacks, decorations and crafting supplies, this camp could not happen without our community ❤

A HUGE thank you and shout out to this year’s teen interns! ❤
🌟 This year, we launched a paid internship program, where four high school students stepped into leadership roles at the Duval Community Garden’s Youth Garden. These young people have grown up in the garden, thanks to the Greater Duval Neighborhood Association.
💌 We are so honored to be a part of their growth into leaders! The next generation will love and protect local food for all of us.
🌱 A special congratulations to Jadon, the “Garden Unc” who not only graduated from Young Chefs and Garden Leadership this year, but also from high school! We are so proud of you!
✨ Support to continue this program next school year was provided by the Women's Giving Circle at the Community Foundation of North Central Florida !

As we near the end of our growing season, we're excited to share photos from our youth education team. Here is just a small selection of the special moments they've shared with us.
✨ Each week, they teach free, weekly classes on growing food, saving seeds, and cooking with fresh ingredients to young people across the county.
🌱 We're incredibly grateful to our youth education partners that provide community rooted spaces where young people grow food, skills, and a sense of belonging.
