So we finally got the boys to visit, and we couldn’t think of a more fun themed restaurant in town than Ford’s Garage! Ford's Garage The theming is so cool, they even have a car outside and one on top of the bar. When you order certain drinks, they honk a horn, which was such a fun touch.

For our appetizer, we got the loaded nachos and they definitely didn’t disappoint. I’m pretty sure me and the boys devoured them in no time! Next, I had the fish & chips lunch style and thought it was really good. The fish was cooked perfectly, and it’s probably some of the best fish I’ve tried in Florida.

The boys got some of the coolest burgers in town, and my other half really enjoyed his meal as well. Our waiter, Eric, was very attentive and great with the kids, which made the experience even better.

Even the bathrooms are themed! I wish I had brought my phone in to grab a photo! They were also clean and well maintained.

Overall, we highly recommend this place if you’re a car fan or just want a fun, themed dining experience.

We wanted to try somewhere new for breakfast, and Peach Valley Café in Gainesville , Florida didn’t disappoint. They offer a brunch bar, so we had to try the peach mimosas since we’d never had a peach mimosa before. It was surprisingly delicious, and the peach flavor tasted homemade.

I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast, and everything arrived hot and cooked to perfection. The steak tasted far better than its $18.99 price tag would suggest, with very little fat and perfectly balanced seasoning. Our daughter can be a little shy sometimes, and our waitress Paola was incredibly kind and patient with her. She ordered the steak and cheese sub and said it was really good, with a generous portion of meat.

The restaurant was very clean, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. They also offer outdoor seating, but we visited during a heat wave, so we definitely appreciated the air conditioning inside. Parking is also very convenient if you park behind the restaurant.

Overall, we had a great experience, were very satisfied with our meal, and will definitely be back.

So we drove Kumo japanese Hibachi & Sushi before it opened, so we were excited to finally give it a try. I ordered the steak and chicken hibachi and was amazed that it was only $13.70, you can barely get McDonald’s for that price anymore.

It’s a quick service restaurant, so you seat yourself, which we didn’t mind at all. I thought the dining area was clean and cutely decorated with lucky cats, giving it a fun atmosphere.

My meal was actually really good, especially for the price. I do wish the rice had a little more flavor, but I used the steak sauce that came with the meat, which helped. The steak was tender with very little fat, and I loved how flavorful the chicken was. It was cooked perfectly.

The staff was friendly and pleasant, and I think this is a great spot if you’re looking for a quick, affordable meal. Overall, we highly recommend it for its great value, good food, and clean dining area.

We found the Funky Pelican on Yelp, and since I really miss living by the beach, we had to give it a try. It’s conveniently located right on the beach, and the walk from where we parked wasn’t bad at all.

We were seated on the outdoor patio, and I loved the views of the beach and the waves. I ordered a Funky Pelican cocktail, and it was delicious.

For my meal, I ordered the fish and chips, which I dearly miss from growing up on Cape Cod. The fish was light, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The batter was crisp and not overly thick. I feel like a lot of places down South use too much batter, which takes away from the fish, but they struck a great balance here.

They also served a generous portion of fries. With inflation these days, it seems like many restaurants have started cutting back on portions, so that was a nice surprise. The bathrooms were clean as well.

The only downside was that it took a while for our waitress to check on us, but she appeared to be very busy. Other than that, we had a great experience and would definitely come back.

We stopped in at One Love Cafe for lunch, but since it was Father’s Day, they weren’t serving food. Instead, we enjoyed an adult beverage to celebrate the best husband in the world! The service was friendly, there was plenty of parking, and the covered outdoor area was perfect for staying dry during the rain. The restrooms were clean, and the stage added a really charming touch to the atmosphere. We look forward to coming back to try the food and updating our review!

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at. Mothers Pub Grilll , especially for the price! We visited on steak night, and for just $10, we got a genuinely good steak. We were shocked because you can barely get fast food for that price these days, let alone a freshly cooked meal.

My steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The tater tots were hot and crispy, and Colby said his burger was delicious as well. They also have a decent sized parking lot, and the drinks were very reasonably priced.

Our waitress was brand new, and despite it being her first day, she did a great job. We appreciated that she wasn’t afraid to ask questions to make sure everything was correct. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and definitely plan to come back for one of their live music nights.
