💚 FREE In-Person NAMI Peer-to-Peer Class Begins June 23rd! 💚
Are you living with a mental health condition and looking for tools, support, and hope in your recovery journey? Join us for NAMI Peer-to-Peer, a FREE 8-session educational program created by and for people with lived experience of mental health conditions.
This recovery-focused course provides information, practical skills, and support to help participants better understand themselves and strengthen their wellness journey.

What You'll Learn:
✨ Class 1 (6/23): Getting Started: Mental Health and Recovery
Create a personal vision statement and practice diaphragmatic breathing.
✨ Class 2 (6/30): The Brain and the Body
Learn about the brain and how to create SMART goals.
✨ Class 3 (7/7): Telling My Story
Share personal stories and practice progressive relaxation techniques.
✨ Class 4 (7/14): Strengthening Relationships
Develop effective communication skills and practice using "I" statements.
✨ Class 5 (7/21): Growing Support Networks
Learn how to build and maintain a strong support system.
✨ Class 6 (7/28): Tools for Enhancing Recovery
Explore stress management, therapies, and medication options.

Prepare for conversations with mental health providers.

Learn problem-solving skills and celebrate graduation!

NAMI Sharing Hope is a FREE, three-part community conversation series grounded in the sharing of sacred stories and guided dialogue on mental wellness, healing, and support.
If you are part of the Black/African ancestry community living in Northeast Georgia, we invite you to register today!
🗣️ Conversation 1:
“How do we know when we are well?”
Using a video discussion prompt, we’ll explore mental wellness and what it means within our community.
🩺 Conversation 2:
A clinician who represents our community will help demystify mental health support, answer questions, and discuss wellness and care.
🤝 Conversation 3:
Learn about local mental health services, resources, and ways to connect with NAMI Hall for help and support.

NAMI Basics is a free 6-session education program for parents, caregivers, and family members supporting youth (ages 22 and under) experiencing mental health symptoms.
This program provides:

✔️ Advocacy strategies for school & healthcare settings
✔️ A supportive space to connect with others who understand
