So much to smile about!! 😊

It’s been a while since I last posted, but behind the scenes life and business have been very full!!

Since my last post, the Thrive Together community helped sponsor 35 kids holiday gifts, and Market Street Studio donated $1,000 to Tree House CAC (none of which happens without my wonderful clients!!), we had the sweetest Friendsgiving celebration, and I took some needed time for rest and surgery recovery over the holidays. Since then it’s been a lot of really meaningful work — sooo many sessions with amazing clients, an 11-hour corporate photo and video shoot with the best crew, and an all-day headshot marathon helping Greater Bethesda Chamber members start 2026 with updated images. There’s also been many meals with dear friends, lots of time with my teenagers, tons of networking events, and a trip to LA to visit my wonderful son and new baby grandson.

At the same time, my heart has felt so heavy watching so much violence happening in the world and here at home. It makes giving back to the community and leaning into generosity feel even more necessary.

Now preparing for one of my favorite events of the year, a Galentine’s Brunch Social this weekend, where an incredible group of women will gather to connect and support another local nonprofit. I’m also planning a fun in-studio branding mini day - coming soon!!! 🙃

Food, Friendship & Purpose: A Thrive Together Friendsgiving Celebrate food, friendship & purpose at Kharis Lavender Farm! Every $25 ticket helps fulfill holiday wishes for local children.

I'm excited to once again support Tree House Child Advocacy Center’s Branches of Hope campaign to sponsor children’s holiday gift lists. Last year, we set out to sponsor 5 kids — and thanks to this amazing community, we actually sponsored 17!

This year, my goal is to sponsor 25 kids, but I know that together we can easily exceed that. The recommended budget to sponsor a child is $100–$150, and every bit of support helps make a child’s holiday brighter.
