Been trying out my new TM200 sewing machine on this small thread painting, before traveling to a workshop with the amazing later this year. I'm so excited to have the opportunity to learn from her in person! So far, this little machine is working great! I got a sturdy carry-on sized case for it that should also protect it if it has to be checked.

Finally getting around to using a fabric remnant I purchased a couple of years ago, to dress up this jacket. I'll be heading back to Valencia soon and hope to score some more fabric.

I am excited to have my thread painting, Great Horned Owl, included in the upcoming Birds 2 exhibit at , along with works from many talented artists. The opening reception is this coming Saturday, May 16th from 2-5 pm. The exhibit runs through June 28.

My Great Horned Owl thread painting is getting down to the final tweaks. I've been working on it off and on for two months. Looking forward to getting it finished and framed. 🦉
