🐾 Could your dog be hiding pain?

Dogs often suffer quietly, and the signs can be easy to miss.

Watch for:
Limping or stiffness
Loss of appetite
Heavy panting at rest
A sad or tense expression
Excessive licking
Sleeping or hiding more than usual

🚨 If something feels “off,” trust your instincts and call your vet.

And remember: Never give human pain medications to dogs.

Save this post, it could help your pup get help sooner ❤️

WHY IS MY CAT NOT EATING?

Loss of appetite in cats can occur for many reasons, ranging from temporary stress to underlying medical conditions.

Potential causes may include:
🔹 Dental disease or oral pain
🔹 Gastrointestinal illness or obstruction
🔹 Chronic kidney disease (CKD)
🔹 Respiratory infections affecting smell
🔹 Medication side effects or recent vaccinations
🔹 Dietary preferences or food aversion

📌 When to call your veterinarian:
If your cat refuses food for more than 24–48 hours, or shows signs such as vomiting, lethargy, hiding, or weight loss, veterinary evaluation is recommended.

Early intervention can help identify issues before they become more serious.

🐾 Your cat may not say it out loud but appetite changes are often their way of telling us something is wrong.

Could your dog be showing signs of Addison’s Disease?

Known as the “Great Imitator,” Addison’s Disease can look like many other illnesses, making it difficult to recognize. Symptoms like lethargy, vomiting, poor appetite, trembling, or increased thirst may seem minor at first but shouldn’t be ignored.

The good news? With proper diagnosis and lifelong management, dogs with Addison’s Disease can live long, happy lives. Early detection makes all the difference.

If your dog seems “off,” trust your instincts and consult your veterinarian. 🩺
