ALWAYS contact a professional for help but there are a few ways to tell these two insects apart~
1. Wings:
A good way to tell the difference is by examining the insect’s wings. Termites have front wings and hind wings that are the same length, and they are twice as long as their body. Ants have shorter wings overall, and their front wings are longer than their hind wings.
2. Antennae:
Termites have straight antennae and ants have bent antennae.
3. Body:
Termites have little to no visible waist and ants have a narrow waist.
