🪻FCP Members of the Month 🪻 For May 2025, we’d like to highlight Lauren Lau 🤗🤗and Cyrus Ghias😇😇!!

By any measure, Lauren Lau is a force to be reckoned with. She balances incredible academic performance with extracurricular excellence, using her time outside of classroom to give back to the community at UCI and beyond. She served as an exceptionally patient learning assistant for the Human Biology major seminar, a meticulous Head of Finance for FCP, and a gentle and caring volunteer with Karate for All at Centra Pediatric Therapy.

On a personal level, she’s warm and funny, and has great music taste (banger matcha recs too!). Equal measures ferociously competent and uncompromisingly true to herself, it’s been an honor to call Lauren our friend. We can’t wait to see what she achieves next!

Cyrus is determined, driven, and eager to jump on any opportunities that come his way. He is consistent and strives to leave an impactful effect through his work. Specifically, his work in OCTHP has been exceptional and inspirational to FCP. Community outreach is very lucky to have a member like him and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things he will be accomplishing in the future.

🌸 FCP Member of the Month 🌸 For April 2025, we’d like to highlight Nancy Rojo! 😁🙌

Nancy is a remarkable person and an irreplaceable part of our organization. Her ability to go above and beyond both within the Spanish Interpreter’s Committee and FCP as a whole shines through the work that she does. As an active member and clinic regular, Nancy’s kind smile, positive demeanor, and hard work are only a few of the characteristics that make her an exemplary person. Her warm personality has made both new and existing members feel welcome within our club. Her presence and participation in club socials, activities, and meetings are a clear reflection of her dedication to FCP. Nancy’s experience coupled with her open minded attitude and reliability have heavily contributed to the growth of FCP, and aided in the establishment of a fun and productive space for all of its members!
