Out with the old, in with the new. This 30 year old ballasted EPDM roof was deteriorating rapidly, leaking in multiple areas and looked more like a green roof with mounds of moss and weeds growing out of it. We hydro excavated the ballast off before tearing out the EPDM and installing the new roof in phases. This was done to ensure we dried the roof in on a nightly basis to ensure we didn't interrupt operations within the building for our partners CertainTeed & Saint-Gobain . Our team did an excellent job navigating the obstacles of this install, completed ahead of schedule and passed our close out inspection leaving the roof water tight for the next 20 years.
Certainteed Smartcoat Pull test. Silicone was applied directly to 1" of SPF and dried for less than 24 hrs. The requirement is 2lbs and we reached over 14lbs. That's what we call a great success 🥇
