Immigrants are humans and deserve respect, good pay, protection, health care, etc. Regardless of how they got here, they are here and make massive contributions to our society. I believe the statistic I read recently said they contribute $85 Billion to Social Security every year, with not one penny redeemable by them, ever. Think about that. They also DO NOT get ANY Federal benefits. Only 3 states and Washington DC allow them to participate in state financed programs. These racist, dictatorial government behaviors need to stop, and better policy needs to be created to benefit ALL people within our borders. That would be real leadership.
