Finding a quality, reliable and honest contractor is like finding a needle in a haystack.

No, these paid places like Home Advisor or Angie's list cannot truly provide good reliable contractors. They habe never met the contractors they promote. Nor have they seen their work.

But trust in those who have truly worked with contractors first hand to get a non-objective view and who have 1st hand experienece working with contractors.

My list of excellent contractors is short. But they are amazing and I do not get a penny for recommending them.

It is about advocating for the consumer and education before any sale!
