PSA: long read but a very important!

On yesterday morning at 4am I was awaken by pounding on my front door. I yell out to them WTH There is two men looking up at me and ask if the  Cadillac Escalade in the driveway next to my driveway was mine. I said no and they go on to ask if knew the person? I’m irritated at this point and said he is my neighbor close the balcony door!

Then more pounding this time it the police with them I’m like what? They ask the same question! I tell them the live at the end of the building. I guess they found him.

So yes I went to ask my neighbor about it and he said “he is a Uber driver and he had some irate riders that he dropped off, they later called him to say they left their phone and they wanted him to bring it back to them. He told them no they can pick it up it up at the police station on tomorrow!

Long story short they tracked the phone to his home! I don’t know if there intentions was to do him harm. But this was not safe and scary for my neighbor!

To all my Ride share drivers please be safe and check your vehicle for tracking devices before returning home. This could have turned into a dangerous situation!
