This growing season, we're not only tending to the gardens at Faith Farms—we're also helping our community partners grow theirs.

Recently , we had the pleasure of helping plant the outdoor garden at Daniel Hale Williams Elementary School!

A huge thank you to Principal Golston and Alyssa Davila of Gary Community School Corporation for your partnership and commitment to creating hands-on learning opportunities for students.

Together, we're planting more than seeds—we're cultivating healthy habits and stronger communities. 🌻🍅🥕

Even with the cloudy weather, it's always a great day for a site visit—especially when it's with organizations that have continuously invested in our community and helped make the growth of Faith Farms possible! 🌱💚

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring strength of the African American community.

Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas learned of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

It serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing pursuit of justice, equity, and opportunity for all.
