DEI at Paradise Valley Ranch
At our ranch, DEI stands for Diversity – Ecology – Integration.
Diversity – We cultivate a rich variety of native grasses, legumes, forbs, and flowering plants to support soil health, wildlife, and year-round forage. This diversity also provides critical habitat and food sources for native and migratory birds.
Ecology – Every decision is made with the ecosystem in mind, from rotational grazing to preserving pollinator zones and bird nesting areas. Healthy plants, healthy soil, and healthy wildlife are all connected.
Integration – We integrate livestock into this diverse plant community, using sheep and goats to naturally manage vegetation, fertilize the land, and improve soil biology—while creating a thriving environment for grassland birds and other wildlife.
By weaving together plants, animals, birds, and soil health, we create a balanced, self-sustaining landscape that produces premium lamb and goat while restoring the land for generations to come.
