River Edge Ranch

It’s breeding season and I never seem to be able to get far from home. The pens are full. Mares and foals everywhere.
Chores just blend from one feeding to the next with a couple of treatments or appointments in between, and a few hours of sleep at night.
My love of horses is in the doldrums.
I have to work to find humor in their antics.
Mindy Benson counted 47 head as my current population. I need that to change so I can find some balance in my life. I have a large group of quality youngsters that I would love to find new addresses for. Foals to three year olds.

Fiona (Hanoverian) had a HUGE c**t yesterday. I’m not sure how she had it curled up in there. Mindy and I assisted in the birth. He was so huge that he just couldn’t get his hind legs to cooperate.
It took both of us to get him on his feet.
Thankfully, Fiona has been a cooperative mom and everything seems to be going well now.
