Adam Colledge - Gautier Council At-Large

I was asked recently “What separates you from your opponent?” Below is my response.

I would say that experience is the largest separation from me and my opponent. Before even running for City Council, I attended council meetings regularly for several years, so I had a very clear understanding of how our form of government functions, where we stood on the different types of budgets necessary for a city to operate, the city codes and ordinances, and ran for city council with a very defined set of priorities. Working in the engineering and construction sector has also provided me the experience of understanding timeframes, approximate costs and budgeting, the bid/construction phases, and potential funding sources. Finally, teamwork with your fellow council members and city staff plays a very vital role in the city’s achievements. I’m only one vote on council, but if the other members share a similar vision, moving the city forward is greatly enhanced. With teamwork this term from most of the Council, Gautier has progressed significantly the past 3½ years. I feel my dedication to this city throughout the years has proven me an advocate for Gautier and its residents.

Please don’t be misled by the very few who are pushing false narratives and smear tactics. My record is and has always been clean. Since being elected, I’ve served with integrity and always with Gautier’s best interest at heart to make this city a better place to live. I stand by my motto “Honest - Dedicated - Experienced”, and would be honored to continue Gautier’s momentum to build upon the accomplishments and progress we’ve made the past 3½ years.
