Founded in 2010 by Jeff Dill - who opened the winery at just 26 years old - J.R. Dill has grown into a beloved family-run destination known for approachable wines, warm hospitality, and stunning lake views. The team sources grapes from local growers around southeast Seneca Lake and crafts everything from bold reds and crisp whites to refreshing bubbly wines and easy-drinking sweet favorites.

One thing we love about J.R. Dill is that every visit feels personal. Relax at their beautiful lake-view deck, enjoy a tasting flight tailored to your palate, and take in the tasting room's unique collection of historic photographs celebrating Watkins Glen and Schuyler County history. The winery's beautiful bar even has its own story, dating back more than a century.
