What does the National say about illegal activity especially while serving as an officer in a leadership role? Under Article IX, it states an officer can be removed for unbecoming conduct or conviction of a Felony or Misdemeanor.

Pictured below is Karen Collins member of VFW whom has a history of discrimination and bullying people of the public, including and family members. Now we can add illegal activities to the list!

June 2025, Collins, administrator of her fake Georgetown's VFW Post 6444 page falsely claimed "cyber-bullying". Because this claim was known to be a lie, there was nothing to substantiate these claims. And if so, she could have gone and reported it to law enforcement. INSTEAD, she utilized an individual to fake being law enforcement, in order to intimidate anyone who she saw as a threat. After multiple residents received a call from her goon squad, they contacted the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office to confirm the "deputy's" identity. Multiple times representatives from the agency verified this individual was not a deputy and his conduct did not align with law enforcement procedures.

❌ Law enforcement will not call from a spoofed number.

❌ Law enforcement will not incompetently read your Miranda Rights over the phone.

❌ Law enforcement will not attempt to intimidate/ threaten arrest over the phone.

✅ Law enforcement will call from an agency phone, or show up to the individual's home for questioning. Miranda Rights will only be read after being placed in custody of law enforcement.

Allegedly this started because someone took a picture of her vehicle in our local Walmart parking lot. What this D**e is not aware of, is that in South Carolina this is not illegal. Under the law there is no expectation of privacy in public areas. And to add, nobody showed up to her home. Instead she chose to play that she was " " and cry for public support like the she is. Thinking she got away with it, she has now had this individual contact more people on her behalf and threaten arrest. Through this act, she and the individual who we traced the number back to committed several illegal acts and are . Under South Carolina Code Section 16-17-720 it is illegal for an individual to impersonate law enforcement with the intent to cause harm. It is also illegal under 18 U.S.C. § 241/ Conspiracy to scheme in hiring a person to do the above acts. Both under state law are misdemeanors and in some cases a felony that can bring multiple years in jail and/or fines. Since the GCSO will not peruse this issue other than just saying, "it's a scam", we have escalated it and reported it to the (IC3 Division) and will be seeking prosecution of these individuals.

Since Stolen Valor Peter Klimek and his posse continue to block us simply because we do not support his unethical behavior, and SC VFW Cdr. Todd Haviland, convicted Child Abuser, has a criminal record himself. We feel this will not be adequately addressed or the guilty will be held accountable for her actions; we have contacted the National VFW and informed them of this individual's misconducts. We demand removal and a ban just like this leadership has unjustly have done to others.

We have posted the number associated with this fake law enforcement individual. By no means are we encouraging harassment, but more so for educational purposes. If you are contacted by them, just know its fake! Karen Collins may think she can intimidate us with threats and illegal behavior, encouraging us to move our memberships, but we will not be swayed and will stand our ground. I guess this isn't an isolated event, where members are blocked from communications and participating in post events/ making member decisions. As you see it here, members of the Murrell's Inlet VFW face the same problems. When you are not part of their clique, your Rights as a or member are tossed aside. The National knows about this behavior and does absolutely nothing toward correcting it. While they are at their National Convention, they fail to realize their membership will drastically be reduced this coming year. There is no excuse for this behavior, and for an organization that t***s off stating, " Nobody does more for Veterans", should be of themselves.

Remember when VFW Post 6444, home of Stolen Valor Peter Klimek Jr. asks for the community's support, know this is what they support. .

Pretend Combat Veteran Peter Klimek Jr. went full length to defend both of these individuals, Michael Dollason the fake USMC and pretend VFW life Member and Jerry Brooks Lee the fake Vietnam Veteran and self embellishment of publicly wearing unauthorized awards. Both Fakes! Klimek spared no expense or a shred of evidence to substantiate his lies while defending these losers, while committing stolen Valor himself. Not only did he lie on an official investigation with the National VFW that was against HIM and his actions that led to it, while doing so he knowingly made false statements against other members and violated numerous bylaws which are Article 9 offenses. To further conceal the activity that went on in his post, he broke State and Federal laws. His faithful followers will go to "back" for him, because they aren't willing to the job themselves.

So when you as the public support him or this local organization, you support the people that allow this to continue and does a disservice to honoring Veterans.
