What a great start to our school year! Tuesday & Wednesday was our time with the Upper Elementary--lots of conversations about leadership! Today we welcomed the 2nd & 3rd years, and each class planned how best to welcome our newest classmates when they join us tomorrow. Everyone has had their first conference with their teacher, and of course they've all started embroidering their lunch napkins. Both classrooms are abuzz with work--both new lessons and "refreshers"--and at recess they finally got to try our new zipline! Ms. Cencia even gave the first demonstration (all the adults practiced yesterday after school😄).
